We would like to tell you about Saatec - the place of ideas and opportunities. It is the firm of international standards that is aiming to deliver best quality service to all its customers. The company is Tbilisi based but is serving customers not only in Georgia, but in Western European countries and in US. Among our core business activities are offshore software development, web design services, legacy application re-engineering services and business process outsourcing.
Saatec has been established in November of 2003 as a small four man team, but since then has rapidly grown to its current size. The company is managed by its director, Mirian Nadaraia. Sandro Dzaganishvili, our technical director, heads the IT department and is responsible for the company’s technical vision and direction.
The company is expanding fast and we are always looking for talented and bright professionals. Our team is a community of sociable and intellectual people, always ready to help each other. The relationship between Saatec and its employees is governed by the employment contract signed by both parties
Your first contract will be three-month long. After a three-month probation period the company will prolong your contract upon your willingness. All your duties and responsibilities are included in the contract so read one carefully before signing it!
Salary will be calculated based on your experience and current market rates. The salary is paid at the end of each month directly into your Georgian bank account. If you do not have bank account, you will have to open one at your expense.
Our offices are truly spectacular. We occupy the top floor of newly built and decorated office building in Saburtalo. We all have our personal computers or laptops and each of department has its own room. We also have small kitchen with fridge and supply of hot and cold water. Office has integrated heating and cooling systems.
Working hours and timekeeping
Our working day starts earlier than many offices in Georgia - 9 o’clock (10 o'clock in winter). We have lunch break from 1 to 2 p.m. Though the day finishes at six, sometimes it is necessary to stay late and work overtime. Overtime is the number of hours you work above required minimum.
Employees also get paid for overtime – usually up to five percent of monthly salary.
Employee cannot be late! You may be reprimanded for this.
Ownership of Programs and Designs
The ownership of and sole right to the copyright or design in any design or program created and written by an employee while in employment with Saatec, shall remain vested with Saatec and/or its clients.
The employee cannot use, sell or provide anyone with the program or design created for Saatec, without prior permission of Saatec management and/or its clients.
Any information or customer data you will come across at Saatec is the property of Saatec or its customers and must be viewed as confidential.
You must not at any time during or after the employment to divulge or allow to be divulged to any person any confidential information relating to the business or affairs of Saatec other than to persons who have signed a secrecy undertaking in the form approved by Saatec unless any information comes into the public domain.
Correct telephone manners are one of the key criteria to gain a successful employment within Saatec. On the phone employee has to be polite to customers, suppliers or any other callers. There are specific procedures to follow during the telephone conversation and each employee must adhere to those
Knowledge of English
Good knowledge of English is another criteria for gaining an employment within Saatec. Most of our customers are based in UK and US, therefore all of the project related documentation is in English language. Most of our employees interact directly with our customers, so you should be able to read and write in English. Spoken English is not a requirement, but will be beneficial. Employees with good spoken English are allowed to communicate with foreign customers on the phone or event take trips to their locations
